If you want to start trading on EVEDEX, the first step is to top up your balance by depositing funds into your account. EVEDEX, as a hybrid exchange, allows users to deposit cryptocurrency from external wallets, making it easy to start trading.
1. Connect Your Wallet to EVEDEX
Before you can deposit funds, you need to connect your wallet to the EVEDEX platform.
Steps to Connect Your Wallet:
Go to the official EVEDEX website.
Click on the "Connect Wallet" button in the top-right corner.
Choose your preferred wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet).
Approve the connection request in your wallet.
Ensure you are on the correct blockchain network supported by EVEDEX.
Once your wallet is connected, you will be able to manage your funds and initiate a deposit.
2. Find the Deposit Section
After connecting your wallet, navigate to the deposit section to top up your balance.
Steps to Access Deposits:
On the EVEDEX platform, go to your account dashboard.
Look for the “Deposit” option.
Click on it to open the deposit page.
This section will show different cryptocurrency options and the supported networks for deposits.
3. Select the Cryptocurrency and Network
EVEDEX supports multiple cryptocurrencies, and each token can be deposited using specific blockchain networks.
Steps to Choose the Right Options:
Select the cryptocurrency you want to deposit (e.g., USDT, ETH, BNB).
Choose the correct blockchain network that matches your external wallet (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon).
Make sure you select the right network, as sending funds to the wrong network can lead to loss of funds.
After selecting the currency and network, EVEDEX will provide you with a deposit address.
4. Copy the Deposit Address
EVEDEX generates a unique wallet address for you to send your funds.
How to Use the Address Correctly:
Click on the copy icon to copy the deposit address.
Open your external wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, etc.).
Go to the send or withdraw section in your wallet.
Paste the copied address into the recipient field.
Double-check that the address is correct before proceeding.
Mistyping the address or using the wrong blockchain network can result in losing funds permanently.
5. Enter the Amount and Confirm the Transfer
Once you have entered the correct deposit address, it’s time to send your funds.
Steps to Complete the Transfer:
Enter the amount of cryptocurrency you want to deposit.
Review the network fees required for the transfer (gas fees).
If everything looks correct, confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Wait for the blockchain network to process your transaction.
The processing time depends on the blockchain network and the level of congestion at the time of transfer.
6. Check the Status of Your Deposit
After sending the funds, you can monitor the deposit to ensure it arrives successfully.
How to Track Your Deposit:
Go to the transaction history in your external wallet.
Find the deposit transaction and copy the transaction hash (TXID).
Open a blockchain explorer for the network used (e.g., Etherscan for Ethereum).
Paste the TXID in the search bar to check the status.
If the transaction is confirmed, your funds should appear in your EVEDEX balance.
If the funds do not show up immediately, wait a few minutes and refresh your account balance on EVEDEX.
7. Deposit From a Wallet (MetaMask, Ledger, etc.)
If you're using a personal wallet:
Open EVEDEX and go to Wallet > Deposit
Choose the token you want to deposit and copy the address
Open your wallet (e.g. MetaMask or Ledger Live)
Select Send, paste the EVEDEX address, and pick the matching network
Enter the amount and confirm the transaction
8. Deposit From Another Network (Cross-Chain)
If your funds are on a different chain than the one supported by the EVEDEX deposit address:
Use a cross-chain bridge like Orbiter.Finance, Layerswap, or LI.FI
Select the origin and destination chains (e.g. Arbitrum → Eventum Mainnet)
Choose the token and amount
Paste your EVEDEX deposit address
Complete the bridging transaction
Once the bridge confirms, the funds will appear in your EVEDEX wallet on the Eventum Mainnet.
Tip: EVEDEX uses the Eventum network — always make sure your destination is on the right chain.
9. Wait for Confirmation
After sending your funds, the deposit will appear once confirmed on-chain. Most transfers take just a few minutes, but timing can vary based on network congestion.
10. Check Your EVEDEX Wallet
Go to Wallet
View your token balances
Use Transaction History to review deposit status and block confirmations
If You Run Into Issues
Wrong network or token? Unfortunately, funds may be unrecoverable — double-check before sending.
Still pending? Use a block explorer like https://explorer.evedex.com to track the TX.
Funds not showing up? Wait for confirmations. If it takes longer than usual, contact EVEDEX Support with the TXID.
