If your wallet balance isn’t showing up on EVEDEX, don’t panic—it’s usually a simple issue that can be fixed in a few steps. Here are the most common reasons this happens and how to troubleshoot it.
Wallet Not Connected Correctly
One of the most common reasons your balance isn’t visible is because your wallet isn’t properly connected. Without a successful connection, EVEDEX can’t access your wallet’s information.
What to do:
Double-check that you’ve selected the correct wallet and network. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your wallet using the “Connect Wallet” button on the platform. You can also refresh the page or clear your browser cache to reset the session. Make sure your wallet extension, like MetaMask or Rabby, is running properly in your browser.
Wrong Network Selected
If your wallet is on a different network than the one EVEDEX is operating on, your assets won’t appear. For example, if you're on Ethereum mainnet but trying to trade on Arbitrum, you won't see your balance.
What to do:
Open your wallet and check which network you’re connected to. Switch to the correct blockchain that matches the vault or market you’re using on EVEDEX. After switching, refresh the page to see if your balance loads.
Balance Hasn’t Updated Yet
If you recently deposited funds or made a transfer, it may take a few moments for the blockchain to confirm the transaction.
What to do:
Check the transaction status in a blockchain explorer for the network you used (like Etherscan or Arbiscan). If it’s confirmed, give it a minute and refresh EVEDEX. You can also reconnect your wallet to force a refresh.
Not Enough Gas for Transactions
Even if your wallet has funds, you need a small amount of the network’s native token (like ETH, ARB, or BNB) to pay for gas. Without this, EVEDEX won’t be able to process your transaction, and your balance may not update.
What to do:
Make sure you have a small balance of the native token for the blockchain you’re trading on. If not, send a little to your wallet so you can cover gas fees and retry the transaction.
Browser or Extension Display Issues
Sometimes the issue isn’t with your wallet or funds—it’s with how the balance is being displayed. This can be caused by a glitch in your browser, wallet extension, or internet connection.
What to do:
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Make sure your wallet extension is up to date. If you’re still not seeing your balance, switch to a different browser or device and try again.
Token Isn’t Added to Your Wallet
If you’ve deposited a supported asset but don’t see it in your wallet, it may be because the token isn’t added manually. Many wallets don’t show new tokens automatically unless you import them.
What to do:
Open your wallet and check if the token is listed. If not, manually add the token using its contract address. You can find this on the EVEDEX interface or from a blockchain explorer like Etherscan. Once the token is added, your balance should show correctly.
Network Congestion
If the blockchain network you’re using is overloaded, it may delay your transaction or the balance update.
What to do:
Use a blockchain explorer to check network activity. If the congestion is high, wait it out or consider using a higher gas fee to speed up processing. Then refresh the EVEDEX interface after confirmation.
Beware of Scams
If your balance is missing and someone messages you pretending to be EVEDEX support—especially asking for your seed phrase or private keys—it's a scam.
How to stay safe:
EVEDEX will never ask for your private key, password, or seed phrase. Always make sure you’re on the official website. Ignore direct messages or emails claiming to be from support. Never share wallet credentials with anyone.
