Copy Trading FAQ on EVEDEX

Find answers to common questions about Copy Trading on EVEDEX, including strategy subscriptions, trade execution, Profit Sharing, fund management, and withdrawals.

What Is the Minimum Amount Required to Start Copy Trading?

The minimum deposit amount is specified in each strategy's conditions and is displayed when you subscribe.

The funds required for your subscription must be available in your main account's Smart Account. An additional 1 USDT must also be available to cover blockchain fees.

Can I Copy Multiple Strategies at the Same Time?

Yes. You can subscribe to multiple strategies from different Master Traders simultaneously, allocating a separate amount of funds to each strategy.

You can manage your subscriptions under Copy Trading → My Copies.

Can I Subscribe to Copy Trading Strategies From a Subaccount?

No. You can only subscribe to Copy Trading strategies from your main account (Main Account).

Standard and Funded subaccounts do not support Copy Trading subscriptions.

Do I Need to Open and Close Trades Manually?

No. Once your subscription is active, the system automatically copies eligible trading actions performed by the Master Trader.

You cannot manually open, modify, or close copied positions.

Are Positions Opened Before My Subscription Copied?

No. Positions opened by the Master Trader before you subscribe are not automatically copied.

Only position changes occurring after your subscription begins are eligible for copying.

If the Master Trader increases a previously opened position, the corresponding increase may be copied. If they reduce a position that was never copied to your account, this action will not open or close a position on your side.

Are Limit Orders, Take Profit, and Stop Loss Orders Copied?

Limit orders, Take Profit, and Stop Loss orders are not copied directly when they are placed.

Instead, the system copies the resulting position changes after the Master Trader's orders are executed.

Why Is My Position Size Different From the Master Trader's?

Copied position sizes are calculated proportionally to trading balances.

For example, if a Master Trader uses 10% of their trading balance to open a position, the system calculates a corresponding position using 10% of your trading balance.

As a result, the absolute position sizes may differ.

Why Is My Execution Price Different From the Master Trader's?

The Master Trader's trades and subscribers' copied trades are executed separately.

Execution prices may differ due to market conditions, price movements, and execution timing.

Why Are Some Master Trader Trades Not Copied?

Certain trading actions may be skipped for the following reasons:

  • Insufficient available funds.

  • Minimum order size requirements are not met.

  • Slippage protection limits are exceeded.

The maximum permitted slippage is 0.1% for BTC, ETH, and SOL and 0.2% for all other trading pairs.

How Is the Profit Sharing Fee Calculated?

Profit Sharing is the percentage of a subscriber's profit received by the Master Trader.

Each strategy has its own Profit Sharing rate, which is displayed before you subscribe.

The fee is calculated based on your actual realized profit when a copied position is reduced or closed.

For example, if you realize a profit of 100 USDT and the Profit Sharing rate is 10%, the fee will be 10 USDT.

If a trade results in a loss or no profit, no Profit Sharing fee is charged for that result.

Are Profit Sharing Fees Refunded if Subsequent Trades Result in Losses?

No. Fees charged on previously realized profits are not refunded, even if subsequent trades result in losses.

Does Copy Trading Guarantee the Same Profits as the Master Trader?

No. Your results may differ from those of the Master Trader due to differences in position sizes, execution prices, available balances, and other factors.

Copy Trading does not guarantee profits and involves the risk of losing your allocated funds.

Can I Add Funds After I Start Copying?

Yes. To increase the amount allocated to an active strategy:

  1. Go to Copy Trading → My Copies.

  2. Find the relevant strategy.

  3. Click Add Funds.

  4. Enter the amount and confirm the transfer.

You can add funds as long as the strategy has not reached its portfolio limit.

Can I Withdraw Part of My Funds Without Stopping Copying?

No. Partial withdrawals are not available while a subscription is active.

To withdraw your funds, you must first stop copying the strategy.

What Happens When I Stop Copy Trading?

After clicking Stop Copying, select Stop Copying and Close All Positions.

The system will begin closing all open positions associated with your subscription.

Once all positions are closed, the Withdraw button becomes available in the same window. Click it and confirm the withdrawal to transfer your remaining funds to your main Smart Account.

Important: Funds are not automatically withdrawn when you stop copying. You must confirm the withdrawal separately.

What Should I Do if My Funds Do Not Arrive After Withdrawal?

If you have stopped copying, closed your positions, and confirmed the withdrawal, but your funds have not arrived in your main Smart Account, please contact EVEDEX Support.

Provide the strategy name and describe the issue you are experiencing.
