Copy Trading on EVEDEX allows you to automatically copy the trading activity of other traders, known as Master Traders, without having to place trades manually.
Simply choose a trading strategy, allocate funds, and the system will automatically replicate the Master Trader's trading activity using your allocated balance.
How Does Copy Trading Work?
Copy Trading involves two types of participants:
Master Trader — a trader who creates and manages trading strategies that other users can follow.
Subscriber — a user who allocates funds to a selected strategy and automatically copies the Master Trader's trading activity.
Once you subscribe to a strategy, EVEDEX automatically starts copying eligible trading actions performed by the Master Trader.
You can follow multiple strategies at the same time, allocating a separate amount of funds to each one.
You can monitor your subscriptions, view positions and trade history, and manage your allocated funds under Copy Trading → My Copies.
How Are Trades Copied?
The system copies changes in the Master Trader's positions, adjusting the trade size proportionally to your trading balance.
For example, if a Master Trader uses 10% of their trading balance to open a position, the system calculates a corresponding position using 10% of your trading balance.
When the Master Trader reduces or closes a position, the same percentage reduction is applied to your corresponding position.
Important things to know:
Only trading actions performed after you subscribe to a strategy are copied. Positions opened before your subscription are not automatically replicated.
Trades are copied when the Master Trader's orders are executed, not when they are placed.
Limit orders, Take Profit, and Stop Loss orders are not copied directly. Instead, the system copies the resulting position changes when those orders are executed.
Your position sizes and execution prices may differ from those of the Master Trader.
Some trading actions may not be copied due to insufficient funds, minimum order size requirements, or slippage protection.
How Does Profit Sharing Work?
Master Traders receive a percentage of the profits generated by subscribers following their strategies.
Each strategy has its own Profit Sharing rate, which is displayed before you subscribe.
Profit Sharing fees are calculated based on your actual realized profit when a copied position is reduced or closed.
For example, if you realize a profit of 100 USDT and the strategy's Profit Sharing rate is 10%, a fee of 10 USDT will be deducted from your profit.
If a copied trade results in a loss or no profit, no Profit Sharing fee is charged for that result.
Fees charged on previous profitable trades are not refunded if later trades result in losses.
Managing Your Copy Trading Subscriptions
You can view and manage your subscriptions under Copy Trading → My Copies.
From there, you can:
Monitor active and inactive subscriptions.
View your open positions and trade history.
Add funds to an active strategy.
Stop copying a strategy and withdraw your remaining funds.
You can add funds while copying is active, provided the strategy has not reached its portfolio limit.
Partial withdrawals are not available during an active subscription. To withdraw funds, you must first stop copying the strategy.
When you stop copying, the system automatically closes your open positions. Once they are closed, you can confirm the withdrawal to transfer your remaining funds to your main Smart Account.
Understanding the Risks
Copy Trading does not guarantee profits.
Your trading results may differ from the Master Trader's performance due to execution timing, market conditions, available balance, and other factors.
Copy Trading carries the risks associated with leveraged trading, including the potential loss of your invested funds.
A Master Trader's past performance does not guarantee future results. Always review a strategy's conditions and consider your risk tolerance before subscribing.
