How to Report Bugs on Android Devices

If you’re using the EVEDEX app on an Android device and encounter a bug or unexpected behavior, you can generate a bug report

1. Enable Developer Options

Before you can generate a bug report, Developer Options must be turned on:

  • Go to Settings > About phone

  • Tap Build number seven times

  • A message will appear confirming that Developer Options are now enabled

2. Generate a Bug Report

Once Developer Options are enabled:

  • Go to Settings > System > Developer options

  • Scroll down and select Take bug report

  • Choose Full report when prompted

  • Wait while the system collects data (this can take a few minutes)

  • Once complete, your device will notify you. Tap the notification to open the sharing options

3. Send the Report to EVEDEX

Attach the generated bug report file and email it to:

Include the following in the email:

  • A short description of the issue

  • Your phone model and Android version

  • Steps to reproduce the issue

  • Screenshots or screen recordings if available
